Virtual Online Art Classes
Online Virtual Art Classes... in our sixth year!
Undoubtedly, these historical times in which we are currently living have made us aware that there are many ways to accomplish our mission. This is why, since June 2020 we have been offering live online art classes via zoom.
What we were not expecting in connection with this course, is that an intimate international community now seems to be developing, with 75% of our participants being returnees. We strongly urge you to register very soon.
(FALL 2026) Art in Dialogue: Monthly Encounters | Practice, Critique, Community
For 4 weeks starting September 9 th, this class serves as a positive critical evaluation of your studio work completed over the past four weeks, and submitted via email, encompassing all media forms. Acting as moderator, Professor Yves M. Larocque will guide a thoughtful and constructive dialogue around your practice — offering insightful suggestions and showing possible directions to pursue in preparation for the next gathering.
At Walk the Arts, we tailor our teaching to each participant’s level, offering personalized guidance from the very start. Through thoughtful questioning—both individually and as a group—we move forward together in a spirit of exploration and growth. We champion creativity and authenticity in today’s increasingly complex and demanding art world. Above all, we celebrate the uniqueness of every individual.

Your Expert Instructor
Yves M. Larocque (Ph.D.)
"Thank you, my great instructor! You did a great job Yves covering the diversity of the group..."

“As I grow older, it seems to me that we return to our youth — to its first ideals, to the awakening of our spirituality, to the innocence of the being we once were, certainly altered by time yet intact at its core. Do we truly change in this cosmic micro-nanosecond that is the span of a human life? Essentially, no. So why should we want to reinvent the world, as if everything had to be done over again? Perhaps there is nothing to reinvent. All that remains is to affirm our true presence by resisting intermittence.” (bravoart.org, summer 2026, p. 14)

Your extremely great attitude…you acted as a critique, teacher, facilitator, host, slide presenter, driver… I could go on… Betty and I thank you again for such a marvellous learning experience. We can also say what a tremendously good time with the congeniality of you two and the others as well."
